1. Please ensure that horses are caught and ready to be worked on at the scheduled appointment time. This includes cleaning of any mud on the horses legs and feet prior to the appointment time.
2. Please call atleast 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time if you need to change the time or date of your appointment. This also includes cancellations.
3. Please notify our office when you schedule your appointment if there are changes in the number of horses and/or the type of services you are needing (ie. your horse is normally trimmed but you would like it shod).
4. Please have payment ready at completion of job.
5. If your horse has special needs, notify us at the time your appointment is scheduled.
6. Please ensure there is a safe and suitable area for your horse to be worked on. If it is raining, please have a covered, dry area or call to reschedule your appointment.
7. Someone must be there at the scheduled appointment time or prior arrangements must be made. First time appointments MUST have an owner or responsible party present.
8. Please advise us at the time of scheduling if your horse has particular behavioral/training issues. Boots is an accomplished trainer and will work with your horse to have a safe farrier visit. Please note that additional training rates may apply.
9. All horses will be on a 6 week schedule unless they have different hoofcare needs. If your horse is severely overgrown, there will be an additional charge for extra labor.
10. Our office will call one week prior to your tentative appointment date to schedule your appointment. We will also call the day before to confirm your appointment the following day.
